About Us

City Life CRC church is part of a fellowship of autonomous yet interdependent local churches and ministers in the states of NSW, ACT, and QLD, belonging to CRC Churches International.

The vision of the City Life CRC church is in line with the CRC churches international vision and what it stands for

Our vision is to help expand the Kingdom of Jesus Christ on earth by creating Bible-based, contemporary local churches and ministries by equipping members to work together in a cooperative fellowship, based on mutual love, respect, loyalty, recognition, and the expression of spiritual gifts.

Our mission is to exalt Jesus Christ in all that we think, say and do, and to extend His influence throughout the world by:

  • Proclaiming Christ’s Gospel with the expectation that supernatural signs will follow as the normal New Testament pattern (Mark 16:15-20);

  • Planting Christ-centred churches that are autonomous, interdependent and self-propagating (Acts 14:21-28);

  • Promoting Christ-glorifying Christian communities which outwork the miraculous and character transforming ministry of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:42-47);

  • Producing Christ-following disciples who seek to obey the Great Commandment and Great Commission (Matthew 22:36-40; 28:18-20).

Declaration Of Faith

At City Life CRC, we believe the following fundamental truths:

  • In the Bible as the inspired Word of God.

  • In God, the Creator, who has revealed Himself in the Persons of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit;

  • In the Divinity and sinless Humanity of Jesus Christ, His miraculous ministry, His suffering and death on the Cross and His resurrection from the dead as the only Saviour of the world.

  • That all people who have put their faith in Jesus Christ will witness a transformation in their lives, exemplified by repentance and holiness of conduct.

  • In Christian Baptism, by full immersion in water, of those who have personally placed their faith in Jesus Christ.

  • In regularly celebrating the Lord’s Supper, remembering Jesus Christ’s saving work.

  • In the miraculous gifts of the Holy Spirit, including the normal evidence of speaking in unknown/unlearned languages and for equipping and empowering all believers.;

  • That God heals the sick.

  • In the power of prayer.

  • In God’s community of believers, the church has the responsibility to spread the message of the Gospel to all people and nations.

  • In resurrection and ascension.
